The Boyfriend Blazer
Hi, Guys, it’s been a little while since my last post, I know I’m a little late on the ‘Black Friday’ fiasco but nevertheless, I’ve still got some styling goodies for you to have a look at. There’s an ongoing word that keeps popping up in fashion lately and that’s the word ‘Boyfriend’. You’ve got the ‘boyfriend’ jeans, the ‘boyfriend’ t-shirt and now the boyfriend blazer…It really isn’t a good time to be single. Lol..anyhoO. Now I think a blazer should be a staple in every girl’s wardrobe, It’s so much more than another item of clothing that can be worn in a professional setting. It’s a lot more versatile than something you wear with a pair of trousers or skirt. They’re great if you’re looking for structured layers. Cardigans can sometimes be too relaxed, and jackets too bulky to wear all day long blazers are just right.
Now if you want the type of blazer that exudes a stylish casualness and goes with everything yet has the relaxed vogue’s vibe that fashionistas are obsessed with then take a look at the ‘Boyfriend Blazer’ As demonstrated in the images below the boyfriend blazer has a boxy cut of men’s blazer and adds a ‘toughness’ to an otherwise feminine look. It can also be draped over the shoulders to give an instant elegant, professional look.
The best way to wear this look is with a t-shirt and jeans or a simple floral dress and it immediately turns up the chic factor of the outfit. This relaxed ‘Boyfriend jacket’ look is an essential trend that’s definitely here to stay. A great way of creating a classy look without appearing all buttoned -up.
I have scanned the internet and seen some gorgeous blazers that I think will be worth investing in check them out.
