Matching sets and Bold shapes

 Matching sets and Bold shapes

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of matching sets? Goody two shoes? Stepford wife? ‘Prim and proper’? Just a few of the names that I can come up with but I’m sure there are more lol.

Matching sets don’t always have that fashion edge that we tend to crave in each outfit..well not until now! Gone are the mumsy twin sets. In their place are cutting edge bold shapes which would make any hardcore fashionista very proud and any wannabe fashionista feel safe in these matching sets – but with an edge. I first saw the outfit that i’m wearing on fashion blogger Freddie Harrel and loved the shape and the colour. The sets come in bold prints showcasing the influence of West African ankara prints for those who are daring enough, or plain shapes with oversized sleeves in the style of peplum. Whatever your preference is, head over to Asos and get your fix at a discount price. Yes, their selected items are on sale at Asos.

In the meantime check out how I styled my ‘matching set’ and take a look at some of my other suggestions i’ve made.
